whatcha doin?

So, Julie over at www.frominmatestoplaydates.com wrote a post that inspired me to want to write a post. Weird, considering I promised myself I would do better this year. But yea not doing that just yet.
I'm still helping out Mom and Dad after their big breaks. Of course Dad has been back at work for awhile. But my poor Mama, she is having trouble.
Shes basically learning to walk all over again. And shes scared. Understandably so. Pray that she will transition to her cane then to solo walking soon. But I cant talk about that much more because I get upset......moving on.

Julie listed all the things she did on a particular day. And she did a lot!! I'm gonna do yesterday because I was off work. If I had to list all the things I did at work......not a pleasant read. So here goes.

-first let me say that I'm still on " midnight" which means my body thinks it needs to stay up all night. So I did, but not because I wanted too. I got an hours sleep before the darn,hateful alarm went off.
-Walked the dog.

-Woke precious up for school with some tickles and kisses.
-Fixed her 2 waffles,extra syrup just the way she likes them.
-Caught up on draw something, words with friends and of course facebook while she ate and watched a little Sprout Tv.

-Helped Syd pick out her clothes and get dressed. Not that she needs much help there.
-Fixed two pretty little pig tails.
-Got my ownself dressed and I think I may have combed my hair.
-Reminded Syd to feed her fish,feed/water her guinea pig, and feed/water her dog.
-Let her use the phone to call and check on her Nana. Which does every morning.
-Was informed 2 minutes before time to leave that she wanted to pack her lunch.
-Packed the fastest lunch I have ever packed.
-Zipped a pink coat ran to the explorer, made it to school 1 minute before the final bell. Shoved Syd through the classroom door with an apologetic wave to her teacher.
-Stopped by the office to see if they had gotten any DES shirts small enough for Sydney yet. They hadn't.

-scotty went to McD's and got breakfast. Love their bagels!
-Printed off some info about my cousin who passed away in Nashville.
-May or may boy have wasted an hour on pinterest/facenook/draw something /words with friends.
-Cleaned both bathrooms.
-Took the aforementioned printed info and some other things she requested over to my Mom.
-Talked with Mom and Meme for awhile. Had to do the family gossip thing.
-Almost fell asleep driving home. So I decided to take a short nap, while Scotty groomed the dog.
-Framed a few more pictures.

-Scottys parents came in from Mass. Haven't seen them in quite some time. Enjoyed talking with them and looking at all the things they brought him from his childhood.
-Waited for Priss to get off the bus.
-Watched a cute reunion between grandparents and grandchild.
-Watched the grandparents play Chutes&Ladders, Super Why.

-Made a salad, and baked spaghetti whilst Scotty took my sweet, sweet girl to sign up for t-ball and the grandparents checked into their hotel.
-Set thetable with a little help from my best girl.
-Ate yummy baked spaghetti
-Cleaned the table,filled the dishwasher,handwashed what wouldn't fit while Scotty put it away.

-Watched Sydney teach Grandma and Grandpa all the kindergarten sight words. She used the "teacher" desk that was her Dads that they brought to her.
-Let Piggy into her pen for some much needed exercise.
-Convinced Sydney that bedtime had to stay the same no matter how many fun visitors you have.
-Gave G&G hugs when they headed to their hotel.
-Assisted Syd with her bath,teeth brushing,medicine taking,pajama finding.
-Listened to Green Eggs and Ham for the 432,675,340th time this week. Gotta love Dr Suess week.
-Watched one episode of Alf with baby girl. She's addicted to that alien I tell you.

-Gave a back rub and sang a few songs while a beautiful girl drifted into dreams.
-Bathed myself.
-Started the dishwasher and the laundry.
-Started reading the new Jodi Picoult book on my fire.
-Cinvinced Scotty to go get Cherry Garcia ice cream at 1030.
-Partook of said ice cream while catching up on dvr'd episodes of Parenthood. Read until I finally passed out ha.
